A community choir established in 2011, Toronto’s Choir! Choir! Choir! brings together an eclectic mix of Parkdale-dwelling baristas and suburban moms and dads for stirring, frequently viral performances. Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman, the founders, take a non-traditional approach; there are no auditions, and the audience is the choir. Just show up and they’ll teach you an original arrangement to a song you love. It’s interactive theatre. It’s stand up comedy. It’s a concert like you’ve never seen before. The group has performed with renowned artists such as Patti Smith, Tegan and Sara, and Rufus Wainwright. Choir!
