The Beaches

JUNO Award-winning rock band The Beaches will embark on ‘The Professional Tour’, a 16-date cross-Canada  headline tour in support of their most recent EP, The Professional, on Feb. 6 in Victoria, BC.

“After what seemed like a really long wait, we are hitting the road again full force. We are so excited to announce our upcoming Professional Tour,” said The Beaches lead vocalist-bassist Jordan Miller. “It’s going to be an awesome series of shows featuring new music off of our ‘Professional’ album. It will be our biggest Canadian tour yet! Can’t wait to see you all out there.”

Along with ‘The Professional Tour’ in early 2020, The Beaches will release the follow-up to their acclaimed debut album, Late Show, and will begin a full U.S. tour shortly after in May. On this side of the year, The Beaches will perform at the Ignite TV presents Sportsgiving House Party on Friday, Oct. 25 – a win-to-get-in party hosted by Rogers in a secret location in Toronto. The event will include surprise appearances from top Canadian athletes, broadcast personalities, games, and live performances by The Beaches, The Trews and Dwayne Gretzky.

The Beaches released their debut studio album, Late Show, in 2017, garnering widespread acclaim while building a dedicated fanbase throughout the country. The album’s singles went on to become instant radio favourites, with the infectious “Money” topping alternative radio charts and “T-Shirt” securing #1 for nine weeks on the Billboard Rock Chart, all helping propel the band to a JUNO for Breakthrough Group of the Year. Earlier this year, the Toronto-based quartet released its third EP, The Professional, highlighted by the singles “Snake Tongue” and “Fascination”. In addition to supporting the likes of The Glorious Sons, The Rolling Stones and Foo Fighters, The Beaches have been showcased in a number of North America’s biggest music festivals, including Osheaga, WayHome, SXSW, Austin City Limits, Riot Fest and more.
