Global News projects Gord Johns of the NDP has been re-elected in the riding of Courtenay–Alberni.

With 266 of 269 polls reporting, Johns had 44.2 per cent of the vote, ahead of Conservative candidate Mary Lee and Susan Farlinger of the Liberals.

The riding includes the District of Tofino, the Village of Cumberland, the City of Courtenay, the Town of Qualicum Beach, and the City of Parksville.
