- Fall Out Boy is being sued over the band’s use of llama puppets. In a newly filed lawsuit, Furry Puppet Studio Inc. is taking legal action against the band over its video for the song “Young and Menace” because they say they were hired to create the puppets for the “Young And Menace” clip only, and not for anything beyond that but now the the llamas have taken “a life of their own,” as branding for merchandise and a social app.
2. The lineup of Woodstock 50 has been officially announced, and as previously rumored the rock portion of the bill includes The Killers, The Lumineers, The Raconteurs, Robert Plant, The Head and the Heart, Black Keys, Greta Van Fleet, Portugal. The Man, Rival Sons, Imagine Dragons, Cage The Elephant, Young The Giant, Judah And The Lion and more. The show will take place in Watkins Glen, New York, 150 miles west of the original site, on the weekend of August 16th through the 18th, the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock.
3. After releasing their Let’s Try the After – Vol. 1 EP last month, Broken Social Scene have now announced Let’s Try the After – Vol. 2. It’s due out on April 12th via Arts & Crafts Records and with that announcement comes the single “Can’t Find My Heart”.
