Here’s are 3 stories from the world of modern rock today:
- Greta Van Fleet have been forced to cancel the remaining concerts on the band’s Australian tour after singer Josh Kiszka was stricken with laryngitis, making him unable to perform. He explained, “Doctors have informed me that performing in this condition could cause damage to my vocal cords, which is something that I cannot risk. I am terribly sorry to make this announcement. We are already working on a momentous return to make this up to you and will be announcing that very soon.”
2. Beck has released his new collaborative song with Robyn and The Lonely Island called ‘Super Cool’. The track will feature on the soundtrack for the upcoming film The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. It’s available to stream on Spotify right now!
3. Panic! At The Disco road manager Zack Hall revealed last week that the group may take action to have certain fans removed during singer Brendon Urie’s traditional “death walk” if some particular behavior continues and now Brandon Urie has echoed the sentiment. He’s particularly upset by fans that try to kiss him during this part of the show, as it’s uninvited intimacy, when he makes his way into the audience for the song “Death of a Bachelor”.
