Arizona woman charged after sending 65,000 texts to a man after just one date

Maybe he’s just not that into you.

In the world of social media and dating apps those looking for the special someone can often find themselves lost in the vast ocean of swipes and likes. That was does not seem to be the case for 31-year-old Arizona resident Jacqueline Ades who claims to have found love after the first date.

How much love you ask? Over 65,000 texts worth in the span of almost a year according to police reports out of Arizona. Ades sent as many as 500 texts a day to her ‘soul-mate’. It doesn’t stop there, one point she broke into poor fellow house while he was out of the country. The police were called and she was arrested for trespassing but not after she had made herself at home. When police found her she had drawn a bath and was in the tub.

Once released after the trespassing incident things quickly elasticated, according to police the messages became more and more aggressive and violent:

“…Don’t ever try to leave me…I’ll kill you…I don’t wanna be a murderer.”

“Oh what would I do w ur blood! … Id wanna bathe in it.”

Not the type of romantic texts you’re looking for from someone who as already broken into your house. The escalation and threats forced police to take Ades in custody last week where she is still currently.

Love is hard. Good luck to everyone fighting the good fight out there. Maybe go to a bar next time?
