Last night Dave Grohl performed a solo set at the Notes & Words benefit to raise money for the UCFF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Grohl played a bunch of Foo Fighters’ hits on his own like “Everlong,” “Times Like These,” and “Learn To Fly,” but the best songs were done with a special backing band.
Grohl was joined on stage by his 12-year old daughter, Violet, and they treated the crowd to Adele’s “When We Were Young”. Grohl gave up the microphone and strummed along as Violet belted out the tune.
As if that wasn’t enough, Grohl’s 9-year old daughter, Harper, hopped on the drum set to join her father and sister on stage. The trio played “Sky Is A Neighborhood” with both daughters singing backup vocals.
I think everyone can agree that we want to see where Harper and Violet’s musical careers go.
What would you name their band? Harlet Viper could be a great choice!
